Tasmin Little OBE is an English classical violinist and is known and critically acclaimed as both a concerto soloist and as a recitalist. She has released many CDs on Essex-based classical music CD label, Chandos, and won many awards including the Critics Award at the Classic Brit Awards in 2011.
Tasmin frequently performs in our region and can be next heard in Essex’s new concert hall, Saffron Hall, Saffron Walden on 28 June with pianist Piers Lane. Here they will champion an unjustly neglected work, Howard Ferguson’s second violin sonata. Also on the programme will be Beethoven’s third violin sonata and works by Ravel and Richard Strauss.
